Out of all the colour combinations in the world, white and gold is my favourite.

There’s just something about it… it’s so much more classy and elegant than all the other colour combos, which is why I decided to do a ‘best in beauty’ post exclusively for beauty products of the white and gold nature.

I’ve also ranked them in order of how amazing I think they are (no.1 being my favourite).

I also thought with Christmas coming up (yes I’m aware that it’s only September), that it would be handy to have these golden products top of mind for festively coloured gift ideas!

Anyway, let’s get into it…

There are four categories: haircare, oils, moisturisers and cosmetics. First up we’ve got haircare, namely shampoo and conditioners.

1. Matrix Biolage Equisite Oil Micro-Oil Shampoo and Conditioner – RRP$30.00 ea

I’ve been using Matrix shampoo and conditioners for years, it’s one of the most affordable quality salon shampoo brands available. The Equisite Oil Micro Oil range works to luxuriously cleanse hair with a rich lather, while retaining all essential nutrients and oils.

Next we moisturisers (this was my favourite of the four categories to shoot).

1. MOR Modern Apothecary Little Luxury Snow Gardenia Hand Cream & Body Butter – RRP$14.99 & $19.99

This would have to be my all-time favourite fragrance from MOR (marshmallow would come second). The fresh scents of gardenia, juniper berry and angelica combined together with a touch of ylang ylang, vanilla and sandalwood are simply decadent.

Both the hand cream and body buter include nourishing Shea butter and a range of essential vitamins including rosehip oil, avocado oil and wheat germ oil to leave your skin feeling deliciously silky smooth and moisturised.
