The best makeup is the kind that you don't have to worry
about what goes into it to make you beautiful. Mineral makeup takes the
risk of shopping for cosmetics that could have chemical ingredients that could
give you reason for concern. An excellent place to start is with a
company like award-winning Monave Mineral Makeup and their safer choices
such as some of the gorgeous possibilities sent to me for this review and
giveaway.
The colors I selected of Monave's Liquid Lip
Glosses and Glazes worked well to coordinate with the eye shadows I
also chose for being basic and perfect everyday choices. Take Quicksand #173, (a light brownish-nude), Hibiscus #84 (a medium pink with a bit of red-plum
and brown), OMG
#177, (a medium pink-brown that is heavier on the brown), and Watermelon
#156 (a cool medium pink with violet and plum) and Autumn Lip Glaze #83, (a medium, sheer pink-brown with a dab
of peach). 
Starting by my thumb on the left is OMG #177 then Autumn #83, Quicksand #173, Watermelon #156, and ending with Hibiscus #84 on the right.
Besides being striking shades, I love the moisturizing
feel and long time wear. In fact, I always considered Monave's Liquid Lip Glosses and
Glazes extraordinary and among their top products. These lip
products are never sticky or tacky. Nor should
you fear they are so slippery to smear or escape from your lips because these
held their own.
As to my favorite of this Liquid Lip Glosses and Glazes,
I must admit it was hard to narrow it down. I think Autumn #83 or Hisbiscus
#84 had to win with the way those shades perked my face up with my light
warm coloring.
I wanted to try one of Monave's Lip Liner
Pencils. Therefore, I picked the Nude pencil. This was a
great medium nude without too much brown that really matched the color of my
lips instead of looking too dark and leaving me with a brown outline. What
I liked is how reliable this shade was for naturally defining your lips
regardless of the lip color you wear.
Using a lip liner that is closest to the natural color of
your lips is the best way to create the perfect illusion when you filling the
shape in. Do try this simple makeup trick and watch how much better and
fuller your lips will look. I promise you that you will love the results.
Their Versatile Mineral Eye Shadows are a lovely
mix of shimmering magic for eyes. I think any of these particular
shades such as Riverstone (a dark wine-bronze), Peace (a pink with
a plum), Hemp #58 (a brown glazed over with gold), Raw Agate #47 (a light ash brown), and Cor de Rosa #44 (a champagne color with hints of peach and
pink) would easily compliment all eye colors and complexions. These
shadows can last all day especially if you prime your eyes first.
By my thumb on top row starting on the left is Raw Agate #47 and Hemp #58. The bottom row from left to right is Riverstone, then Cor de Rosa #44 and ending with Peace on the right.
Of course, a quality tool like Monave's Firm Eye
Shadow Brush was essential for enhancing application. Its thick, soft hairs
picked up the loose powder pigment and swept over my lids, allowing me to blend
effortlessly.
Closest to my wrist and working down my arm is Riverstone followed by Peace, Hemp #58, Raw Agate #47, and ending with Cor de Rose #44.
The last product I tried was their Shea Butter Hand,
Face & Body Lotion. The bottle with a pump dispenser is wonderful
for handy access to this rich lotion that is so moisturizing without excess
greasiness. I loved how this product especially worked on my dry hands to
soften them.
