Though typical chocolate bars are far from being
smart food choices for your health and figure, I must confess that sweet
confection is a guilty pleasure of mine. Whether it is milk or dark chocolate, I
find it hard to resist. Until I discovered Seapoint Farms Edamame Crunch Milk and
Dark Chocolate Bars sent to me for this review and giveaway launched
under the PRAIM Group, I was
unaware how deliciously you can satisfy that chocolate craving in a better-for-you bar.
The Edamame Crunch is a gourmet chocolate
bar with dry roasted edamame for a tempting sweet with salty flavor with 10
grams of soy protein to each 3.5 oz. bar!
The edamame gives this smooth
natural premium chocolate an amazing nut like type of crunch to compliment
either their Edamame Crunch Milk
Chocolate with its 34% cocoa or that decadent Edamame Crunch Dark
Chocolate with its 55% cocoa. If you had been unable to eat peanuts
due to allergies, you now can satisfy that longing for peanuts in your chocolate
with soy protein in each bar as a wonderful substitute.
As I indulged, I found the velvety richness of
these bars
was incredible along with edamame, adding to my eating pleasure with that
bit of salty crunch from sea salt, mingling with that chocolate. Edamame
Crunch Dark Chocolate now is my new obsession with how those flavors really went together
for a slightly less sweet delight.
While both Edamame Crunch bars would
satisfy any chocolate lovers cravings, I can tell you they also were
filling. These bars would be perfect to refuel when you lack time but need
something to get you through your morning or afternoon without leaving you
