With the news that actors (Rain, Gong Hyo Jin, Han Hye Jin, Lee Seung Gi, Lee Ji Ah, f(x) Krystal, Ji Jin Hye, Kwon Sang Woo, etc) will be absent at this year’s SBS Drama Awards, people are questioning who will come to this end-of-year award ceremony?
Fans of You Who Came from the Stars, Pinocchio, Three Days, Birth of a Beauty, Secret Door will be pleased to know that actors from these drama have confirmed their attendance.
Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun who’re contenders for the Daesang award will be there to repay the love they received from the viewers after You Who Came from the Stars’ immense popularity in Korea and abroad.
Pinocchio OTP Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye will come despite their busy live filming & packed schedule especially for Park Shin Hye who’s in the midst of promoting her movie The Royal Tailor. Park Shin Hye will be hosting the ceremony with Lee Hwi Jae and rising young actor Park Seo Joon (One Warm Word).
Other actors who’ve confirmed their attendance: Park Yoo Chun (Three Days), Lee Je Hoon (Secret Door), Joo Sang Wook (Birth of a Beauty), Han Ye Seul (Birth of a Beauty), Hwang Jung Eum (Endless Love) and Lee Bo Young (God’s Gift – 14Days) who will continue the tradition to pass on the Daesang award to this year’s winner.
From It’s Okay It’s Love, Lee Kwang Soo and D.O. are most likely to attend. Unfortunately, there’s still no confirmed news from lead actor Jo In Sung.
Last year SBS gave almost 50 awards (including 10 teen star awards and 10 new star awards). Shall wait and see how many awards they’ll generously distribute this year. SBS Drama Awards will be held tomorrow night, starting from 8:55PM.
