PRESS RELEASE:

On March 14th, 2014 John Hall of Bushman Music Works sold the Bean Blossom Blues Fest so he can focus all of his time and effort to building the Bushman harmonica brand, and to becoming the first American harmonica making company in over 50 years.  Manufacturing the Bushman Delta Frost harmonicas in America has been a longtime goal of John's.  The fest has come full circle and given back - first the harmonica business built the fest, and now the fest has given back to the harmonica business.

The new owner of the Bean is Grant Stuart of Nashville, Indiana.  Grant has been a loyal supporter of the fest for years.  He was the first person John thought of when he went to sell the fest.  Grant will continue to foster the brotherly love that is felt at the Bean.  He will continue to support and protect the great jams that happen throughout the park and in the pavilion.  He will continue the cook-off and other fun traditions that have formed over time.  Simply put, the Bean will continue to be the same amazing weekend it always has been, and it might even get better!

Any of you who have tickets, obviously those are still good.  The line-up will remain essentially the same.  The All Star Jam on the Main Stage will always continue.  Hall will continue to MC the fest, lead the Beginner's Harmonica Seminar, be a Judge for the Cook-Off, and generally be involved in whatever way Grant wants him to be.
