Eid-ul-Azha or Bakra Eid 2016

Every year Muslims celebrates their two major events named as Eid-Ul-Fitr and Eid-Ul-Adha. This Eid is the second among the two major festivals celebrated by the Muslims in the whole world. This Eid is also known as “Sacrifice Feast” or “Bakra-Eid” which memorize us the story of Hazrat Ibrahim who was agree to slaughter his son just to show the obedience to Almighty ALLAH, then ALLAH accepted this slaughter and sent HIM ram instead. After this event ALLAH made this duty to be performed by Muslims every year in the blessed month of Zil-Hajj.

Eid-Ul-Adha is celebrated in the different parts of the worlds by Muslims on the basis of the sighting the Moon of Zil-Hajj. In this month Muslims also performs Hajj in Saudi Arabia this year formal procedure will starts on 9 September 2016 and will end on 14 September 2016.

In the rest of the world the Muslims are searching for the appropriate animal to be slaughtered on the Eid which fits their budget. For this purpose Muslims have to search the “Annual Cattle Markets” which were arranged by the Governments in the different parts of the country. In Pakistan Cattle Market in the Karachi is largest market in Asia where animals are brought from the whole parts of the country. The most demanding animals which are slaughtered on the Eid are Goats, Sheeps, Buffalo, Cow and Camel.

Eid-Ul-Adha will be celebrated in Pakistan on Tuesday 13th of September and it will be a public holiday. The very first thing on the both Eid days is to perform Eid Prayers early in the morning and then Eid Greetings to the every Muslim brother and family.
