Job Description / Responsibility
Manage the preparation and monthly closure of accounts; Check for missing data and advise relevant department to provide information; Take necessary decision to record data into the system and proceed to closure of accounts; Monitor the preparation of accruals & expenses positions and posting of taxes
Administer the completeness of information in both Global Telecom Holding and VimpelCom Hyperion for monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting; Provide rationalization of figures based on respective composition of GTH and VimpelCom reporting pack; Check validation points regarding data accuracy and advice solutions in case of validation error
Conduct and ensure cash flow reconciliation between IFRS and Global Telecom Holding Hyperion reporting pack; Supervise the team in preparation of remaining areas of IFRS financials; Manage the manual inclusion of special adjustments, as IFRS rules, in financials
Compute statutory adjustments for posting in IFRS financials as per Company Act prevalent in Bangladesh; Review statutory financials prepared by team to ensure complete data availability
Approve Oracle account request form for account opening, rename, mapping etc. for account level only; Analyze the nature of new accounts supplied by team, assess the implication of its placement in Oracle chart of accounts to prevent contradiction with local, GTH or VimpelCom account grouping and finalize placement
Work as budget controller for Accounting & Finance department at the time of various budget/forecast exercises; Lead discussions between other Accounting units and Financial Planning & Analysis team for OPEX and CAPEX budget requirements

Job Requirements
6-7 years of post-qualification experience in a medium to large scale organization with at-least 4 years of relevant experience in Telecom Industry
Working knowledge of applicable ERP at entity level (Oracle, SAP)
Comprehensive know-how of Group Financial reporting package- Hyperion
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Access
Sound knowledge of IAS/IFRS relevant to Telecom industry
In-depth understanding of Internal Control Policies and Procedures
Good understanding of COSO Internal Control Standards, accounting & reporting, and statutory reporting Regulations
Extensive familiarity with Reporting tools
Well-versed in applicable taxation laws
Know how of Audit Standards (GAAS, ISA)
