Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Work Station: Bangladesh Country Office, Dhaka
Job Description: Relief International (RI) is an international development agency head-quartered in Los Angeles, USA and currently operates in more than 20 countries. RI has been working in Bangladesh since 2005. Currently RI’s Bangladesh portfolio has large focus on livelihoods and economic development, ecosystem conservation of the Sundarbans, public health/one health, trafficking in persons, ecotourism and entrepreneurship. RI programs in Bangladesh are managed by its 6 offices across Bangladesh with the country office located in DOHS Baridhara. RI is looking for qualified candidates to fill in the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer for its Bangladesh Country Office.
Key job responsibilities:

Assist program and sector-specific manager to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on all indicators in proposals while feeding into RI BD indicators;

Act as the focal point for developing, standardizing and deploying survey tools, and other data collection forms to realize the effective use of monitoring plans;

Assist with the implementation of baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation exercises for programs/projects and impact assessments.

Develop and maintain longitudinal analysis for program stakeholders to gauge program impact;

Assist program and sector-specific managers to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on all indicators in proposals while feeding into RI BD indicators;

Act as the focal point for developing, standardizing and deploying survey tools, and other data collection forms to realize the effective use of monitoring plans;

Assist with the implementation of baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation ,exercises for programs/projects and impact assessments.

Develop and maintain longitudinal analysis for program stakeholders to gauge program impact;

Act as a resource for the development of data aggregation tools to better manage program inputs (operational inputs) and program outputs;.

Assist with the maintenance of RI BD collaborative workspace following a systematic information management system consisting of standardized file naming, reporting templates in an effort to increase the organization's access to information and enhance institutional memory;

Develop and assist with maintenance of a Online Project Output Tracker with vital contextual

Information and information for staff members;

Develop and implement plans for further integration of information management systems

Assist in need assessment activities.

Proposal Development and Reports Management.

Coordinate with field program staff and other relevant RI stakeholders on Proposal development, project design in pursuit of high impact and cost effective.

Education/Skill Requirements
Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in management, economics, social or natural sciences, international relations, development studies etc with emphasis on development issues or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience and practical experience in M & E;
Experience in the UN system and experience in working in an international environment is a plus. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other UN languages an asset.
Contract type:
One year, subject to the availability of funds. Negotiable Salary
