(Accounting/Auditing) Are you a bright, client-service orientated US tax accountant that can take charge of interesting US corporate tax assignments in our Vancouver Office. As a key member of the Tax Group, your main duties will include the following:
•Overseeing the US corporate tax compliance requirements of our varied client base;
•Preparing US corporate tax returns and other US tax filings;
•Responding to the enquiries and requests of the IRS and other tax authorities;
•Researching US tax issues our clients face in their day-to-day operations, and work on proposed transactions and other special US tax projects.
Required Qualifications:
•Qualified CGA or CMA with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the US tax department of a public accounting firm;
•Strong accounting skills which can be used to understand the accounting in multi-corporate groups and the financial information necessary to prepare their US tax filings;
•Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills;
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
•Great client service abilities and written communication skills.
