(Child Care) Looking for an energetic and caring live-in nanny for our son who will be one year old in July 2014.
About our family:
We\'re a fun couple who likes to travel and we always take the baby with us so that means extra time off for you! I\'m sure a lot of people say this but we\'ve been told we have the easiest going and sweetest baby ever. He rarely cries and sleeps well most of the time. Hopefully he stays that way even into the \"terrible twos\" ;) He likes to be active and meet new people, so we\'d like a nanny who can take him to city programs, local parks and play dates. Our extended family is very close and we have access to a private pool just 20 minutes drive from home, so a nanny that can drive and swim well is ideal but not 100% necessary.
Accommodations:
Our nanny will have his/her own private bedroom and bathroom in our legal full basement apartment. Our nanny will also have access to the basement kitchenette, home theatre, office desktop computers with high speed internet as well as our secondary washer/dryer set, all of which our family rarely uses. The Bloor subway line is a 4 minute walk from our home and our neighbourhood has been named one of the Top 5 Best Neighbourhoods to live in - in Toronto. We are within walking distance of High Park, Roncesvalles Village, Bloor West Village and The Junction.
Work Hours:
Tuesday-Friday, around 7am-6pm. Get 3 days off almost every week!! On occasion we will need you to work on a Monday but we will adjust hours accordingly.
Require:
CPR and first aid training. We are will to pay to have the right person certified.
Good grasp of the English language
Light house work (tidying, laundry, meal prep for baby and sometimes parents)
Occasional grocery shopping
Nice to have:
Someone who also speaks French and/or Italian
Valid Ontario drivers licence
