Here’s a quick overview of BCHL standings as the second half of the season gets underway, along with Top Snipers and Goalies.

Top 3 divisional leading teams are: Wenatchee (.800), Penticton Vees (.776) and Victoria Grizzlies (.720).

Chilliwack Chiefs are not far off the pace in second place in the Mainland division, at .705.

Otherwise, the leaders have opened sizable margins over the remaining teams in each division.

Scroll down for Top 10 Snipers and Top 10 Goalies.

On the Island, the Grizzlies are only two wins up on the Kings, but hold a 10 point lead, thanks to their excellent OTL and ties record, which translates into a very low eight game loss record, in 41 games played.

Top Snipers:

Four of the top 5 BCHL snipers are American players; three of them are playing for the high-flying Wenatchee Wild – not surprising perhaps as the team is averaging over 5 goals for per game. The fourth, Cam Donaldson, is playing in Powell River.

Brett Mennear from West Kelowna, playing for the Prince George Spruce Kings is the lone British Columbian in the top 5.

All but one of the Top 10 have secured NCAA commitments for this fall, including:

Brendan Harris, Bemidji State

Charlie Combs, Bemidji State

Brent Mennear, Bentley

Troy Conzo, Colorado College

Cam Donaldson, Cornell

Jordan Kawaguchi, University of North Dakota

Cole Pickup, Nebraska-OHAMA

Tristan Mullin, Cornell

Ryan Barrow, Dartmouth
