The 2013 Emmy Award Nominations

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominations for the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards this morning.

The most notable news was that Netflix's "House of Cards" marks the first series released exclusively online to score nominations in the major categories.

"Game of Thrones," "Breaking Bad," "Homeland," "Downton Abbey," "Mad Men," and "The Good Wife" dominated the drama categories. "30 Rock," "Louie," "Modern Family," "Veep," "Girls," and "The Big Bang Theory" scored numerous nominations for comedy. "Behind The Candelabra," "Phil Spector," "Top Of The Lake" and "American Horror Story: Asylum" dominated the mini-series & movies categories.

The Emmys are scheduled to air live on Sunday, September 22nd. Here is the full list of nominees:
