The IT Manager will contribute to the success of the team and the organisation in achieving the vision of the department and Group Technical resources, allowing them to optimise their ability to create value for the whole organisation.
Your specific areas of responsibility will have a significant focus and impact on Information Security, whilst also including IT Project Management, Infrastructure, System Administration, Application Support and IT Support at Group level, as well as across the various companies within the portfolio.

Description
- To plan, direct, and coordinate IT management activities to maximise the strategy while implementing general system security procedures.- To oversee and supervise all functions related to Information Technology and ensures optimum support to all departments and members.- To supervise technical support team comprising of Cisco certified network engineers, SAP BASIS admin, Solaris/ Linux Admin and Microsoft certified professionals.- To enhance and improve existing and develop new security policies- To enforce security policies and procedures across data centre, networks, databases and applications- To ensure efficient user & access management as per access profile- Identify, investigate and report on suspected breaches and review findings with key stakeholders- To set goals and monitor performance of the IT team and the different company IT departments- To audit all group companies on a periodic basis and provide them with detailed report on IT and Information Security related findings and non-compliances- To ensure project documentation are maintained properly and available to all- To comply with data security measures as per information security policies and procedures- To escalate software problems to respective vendors/partners- To implement application specific recommendations from internal/external auditors- To drive standardisation on IT solutions and infrastructure requirements throughout all Group companies
Profile
- CISSP/ CISM or similar certification are required- A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline- IT industry certifications in Microsoft Technologies, Unix/ Solaris and ITIL- Approx 10 years of relevant IT experience- Minimum 3 years in similar management role- Experience with Network and Information Security- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft and Unix Server Platforms, Enterprise Storage systems, Backup and Business Continuity processes, and Data and Voice networks- Project management experience which includes building and managing a data centre, and managing DR activities- Previous experience operating a high availability service environment- Previous experience in a role that involved IT audits and IT purchasing responsibilities- Experience with Mobile applications and web technologies- Excellent communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders outside of IT
