The principal objectives of this role are to:
• promote familiarity, favourability and advocacy towards Jersey as a reputable, well-regulated and progressive international finance centre amongst key influencers and decision-makers within your region;
• provide support for Jersey Finance member firms in their efforts to stimulate and develop business in the region
• identify opportunities for sustainable financial services market access within your region and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions for example, achieving listing status on regional markets for the Jersey company structure
The role will be based in Dubai with a requirement to conduct regular business trips to other GCC countries. Bi-annual visits to Jersey are also required.
You will be required to work collaboratively with colleagues across Jersey Finance to deliver the full breadth of proposition. Where appropriate, you will liaise with external stakeholders such as States of Jersey, Jersey Financial Services Commission and Locate Jersey to understand and effectively represent the finance industry proposition in your regional market.
Performance in the role will be assessed against a range of qualitative and quantitative key performance indicators.
