Based on its Compliance Commitment ThyssenKrupp has developed and implemented a group- and worldwide, best in class Compliance Program for the areas of Antitrust law and Anticorruption. The Program consists of well defined elements, tools and processes to ensure that the Group and its managers and employees act in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies. Three pillars shape the Program: Inform about all applicable compliance rules, identify potential compliance risks and report on and respond to compliance matters.

The Compliance Program is currently mainly directed from the headquarters of the Group in Essen, Germany. To foster the implementation of the Compliance Program on a global basis, including important European States or emerging markets like the BRIC countries or the MENA region, ThyssenKrupp AG will establish the position of a Regional Compliance Officer, responsible for the GCC Region embedded in a global Compliance organization. The office will be located in Dubai.

As part of the global ThyssenKrupp Compliance Team the Regional Compliance Officer will provide Compliance related business advice to the local management and ensure the efficient implementation of the comprehensive Compliance Program of the ThyssenKrupp Group within his or her area of responsibility. To ensure independence of this position, the RCO has a direct reporting line to ThyssenKrupp AG, Corporate Center Compliance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Foster the Compliance culture and awareness within the ThyssenKrupp companies in the region

•Provide advice for ThyssenKrupp entities in the region as a reliable business partner to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies focused on anti-trust and anti-corruption

•Support ThyssenKrupp entities in the region in implementing the Compliance Program, including processes, reporting and documentation

•Identify Compliance risks and conflicts of interests across all parts of business

•Customize existing Compliance tools and develop additional tools and measures fitting into the specific business requirement in the region

•Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Compliance Program

•Add regional compliance know-how and foster understanding of regional compliance customs to the Compliance Team

•Identify training needs and organize/conduct trainings for different target groups in the specific region

•Support the German based Compliance Department

•Travelling: regular travelling required
