A leading independent petroleum storage terminal located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, is seeking a candidate for Maintenance Technician (Electrical) position for immediate employment:
The position is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and performance of all Petroleum storage terminal equipments, plant and facilities.
To qualify for this position, you should satisfy the following basic requirements
1. Should have thorough knowledge of single and three phase electrical systems.
2. Should have thorough knowledge and hands on experience in operating/trouble shooting/maintenance of 11 KV breaker system, switch gear unit, bus bar unit and related protective system.
3. Should know to read and refer single line diagrams, trouble shoot and rectify electrical faults & problems.
4. Should have hands on experience in HT & LT induction motors, diesel generators, PLC panels, MCC, lighting systems, HT/LT transformers, circuit breakers, UPS, Fire alarm system etc.
5. Should have thorough knowledge of cable joining and termination up to 240 sq. mm.
6. Should have basic knowledge of electronic and instrumentation systems.
7. Should be well versed with preventive maintenance system and procedures.
8. Should have thorough knowledge of equipment isolation and tagging procedure.
9. Should be aware of working system in hazardous areas, basic safety rules & regulations, work permit system followed in petroleum industries.
