New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) has declared the final list of selected candidates for the post of bank probationary officers (bank P.O.) on 6 August, 2013. Nearly 1500 candidates have qualified the examination and been selected as probationary officers in SBI.

The written exam was conducted on 28 April, 2013. The SBI had declared the results of the written test (Phase-1) to shortlist candidates for the post of probationary officer on 14 June, 2013. More than 3100 students had qualified for the next round of selection (Phase-2) that involved group discussion and interview. Phase 2 had started from 3 July, 2013.

Now the final result (post group discussions and interview) has been declared. The successful candidates are also being informed by email and SMS.

The State Bank of India (SBI) conducts the SBI bank P.O exam to shortlist eligible Indian citizens for the post of Probationary Officers (P.O.), who may be posted across the country.

The Central Recruitment & Promotion Department conducts the recruitment of officers & clerical cadre in the State Bank of India & its associate banks.
