* Michael: All right. Sure.

+

* Barney: Yeah.

+

* Michael: Now, tie a knot.

+

* Michael: Whoa. The wind.

+

* Tosha: Whoa.

+

* Barney: What was that again.

* Michael, Tosha and Tina: Barney.

+

* (Barney giggles)

+

* Tosha: I like yours.

+

* Michael: Those kites look great.

+

* Barney: Wonderful show on that.

+

* Tosha: Thanks, Barney. I'm putting these streamer kites in my cubby to take home later.

+

* Barney: Gee. It looks like they're already something in your cubby. What is it, Tosha.

+

* Tosha: It's a picture of Mary and her little lamb. This is the baby's room too.

+

* Barney: Oh, you did a very nice job of coloring that picture, Tosha.

+

* Tosha: Thanks, Barney.

+

* Barney: Oh, do you think a baby will be able to sing Mary Had a Little Lamb.

+

* Tosha: Not at first. But, I'm going to teach the baby how to sing just like this. (music starts for Mary Had a Little Lamb) (singing) Mary had a little lamb, Little lamb, little lamb. Mary had a little lamb, Its fleece was white as snow.

+

* Barney and Kids: And everywhere that Mary went, Mary went, Mary went. And everywhere that Mary went the lamb has sure to go.

+

* Barney: See. Now, there's a lamb following her to school.

+

* Tosha: It followed her to school one day, School one day, school one day. It followed her to school one day, Which was against the rule.

+

* Barney and Kids: It made the children laugh and play, Laugh and play, laugh and play. It made the children laugh and play to see the lamb at school. (music ends)

+

* Barney: (giggles) Her lamb at school. That's funny.

+

* Michael: That's a nice picture.

+

* Tosha: Barney, I have a question.

+

* Barney: Oh, It's always good to ask questions. What's your question, Tosha.

+

* Tosha: In that song, It was against the rule to bring a lamb at school. Because it made the children laugh and play.

+

* Barney: Huh.

+

* Tosha: Well, what's wrong with laughing and playing.

+

* Michael: Yeah. You're right.

+

* Barney: There's no long with laughing and playing. In the right place. But sometimes when you're in school. It's important to be sort of quiet. So everyone can hear the teacher.

+

* Michael: Yeah. That's why we're in the classroom. We use our quiet indoor voices.

+

* Barney: That's right.

+

* Tosha: I'll have to use my indoor voices with a baby sleeping too.

+

* Tina: When we're on the playground. We can use our great big outdoor voices. Yay.

+

* Barney: Oh boy.

+

* Tina: I better take my outdoor voice. Outdoors. Here I go.

+

* Barney: (music starts for Indoor-Outdoor Voices) Bye. (giggles) (singing) When we talk, we have two choices. We can use either one of our two voices. My indoor voice is kind of quiet like a kitty who's just meowed.

+

* Michael and Tosha: Meow.

+

* Derek and Tina: And my outdoor voice is fun to try it 'cause it's big and strong and loud.

+

* B.J.'s Voice: Hay yeah.

+

* Barney, Michael and Tosha: When we're in school or riding in a car, It's our indoor voice we use. We can still have fun, no matter where we are with a quiet voice we choose. And when we use both voices every day, It's easy to decide which one. We use our indoor here and our outdoor there. And we know they both are fun.

+

* (Barney giggles)

+

* Derek and Tina: When we're outside just playing around, It's our outdoor voice we use. We can be real loud, tall and proud like a rooster when he cock-a-doodle-doos. And when we use both voices every day, It's easy to decide which one. We use our indoor there and our outdoor here. And we know they both are fun.

+

+

* B.J.'s Voice: Hay.

+
