Sleep is not something in the normal daily procedures of AFCO engineers. It can’t be because if it was the company would not be rolling out so many new and exciting parts and pieces in 2015. The newest announcement from the company is a multitude of part numbers for brake pads designed to be used in some of the harshest braking environments on Earth…circle track racing. Below you will see all of the new part numbers and the specific cars that they are designed for. From Modifieds to Sprint Cars, these are not the same old pads. AFCO has been a leader in the world of circle track braking for some time now and it only makes sense that if you are running their components that you’d run their pads, right?
For those of you who aren’t as brushed up on the level of sophistication in today’s world of circle track racing on asphalt and dirt, you’ll be blown away when you read the descriptions of these parts. Why? Some of these compounds are designed to be used on specific SIDES of the car. Obviously if you are running in the same direction all day (go fast turn left!) the way that the loads will be applied are different and as such, specific pieces are needed. AFCO has ‘em and they are all below. Just from a technical standpoint, this is really cool stuff.
