There is something about an untouched original car that just makes me giggle. Part of it is because a car like this is a time machine, that still tells the story of what it was like when new. And part of it is because there is a part of me that always want to hot rod anything I can get my hands on. This 1968 Pontiac Firebird is a virgin. It’s mint and untouched! And I really really really dig it the way it is. And would totally drive it stock just for the fun of it. But there is also a part of me that looks at this car and thinks I want to make it into the nasty little catholic school girl of pro-touring machines. You know, stock looking on the outside but crazy underneath! If it were mine I would go full tilt sleeper. I’d figure a way to put the stock hubcaps on an 18 inch wheel. I’d make sure the nasty LS under the hood was super quiet so nobody would realize. I’d keep the interior as stock as possible, but with some bolstering and trickery from TMI Products. I’m getting excited just thinking about it. Here, check it out and tell us what you would do with this sucker.
