Good morning and happy Monday everyone we are off to a cold start as the long advertised cold air mass has arrived..some places this morning were in the teens..clouds will increase today and high temps will only make it into the mid to upper 30′s! Snow showers approach very late tonight..some slick spots are possible Tuesday morning but any accum should be 1″ or less..Tuesday will be even colder with high temps in the low 30′s and we forecast lows Tuesday night to drop into the mid to perhaps low teens under mostly clear skies! Here is that forecast radar image early Tues when we think some light snow arrives!

We know the cold hangs around until Wednesday..we then warm into the 50′s for the last part of the week before a cold front comes through Friday bringing cooler temps and T’showers along with it..we think at this time Saturday will be cooler with highs in the upper 40′s low 50′s due to FROPA..its beyond this into early next week went PERHAPS above normal temps arrive..some data suggesting upper 60′s and low 70′s!

Beyond this warm up and into the long range charts there is still another cool shot of air that wants to make its way into the Ohio Valley..it will not be as cold as what we are dealing with this week but it still has the potential to be below average cold!
