April LOVES to dig! Today she got into the bushes and before the humans and I could get her out, she dug herself into a pickle!
She hurt her paw. When she came out, her white fur was all covered in blood and we were all really worried. She wasn’t though… she ran through all the wet grass in big collie circles! She wasn’t bothered at all. By the time we got a look at it most of the blood had gone and luckily it didn’t look too bad.
You can kind of see in the photo that April’s last claw is a little darker. After a closer inspection though, luckily we realised there wasn’t much damage. I think she just punctured the skin between her toes with a stick or something.
In truth my poor baby sister is suffering more with her new teeth than any minor injury from the garden. She’s crunching her way through lots of ice. Bless her crocodile mouth!
I can’t wait for her to stop teething, so she stops trying to bite everything in sight!
