Here is the finished piece of Wonder Woman, as based from the more recent movie trailer. I initially wanted to do something a bit more dynamic, but I just loved the idea of having Steve Trevor hiding in the trench and looking on in shock as Diana deflects a bullet on the battle field.
A lot of new technique work went into this. More so with the background. I applied a lot of what I've learned watching the Fred Perry art stream on Picarto. I really think it paid off.
As for the title. It's a callback to "Batman v Superman". That "I thought she was with you" moment. That bit just didn't land, because there was nothing up to that point that even suggested Wonder Woman was working with Superman. I thought it would have been cooler if after saving his life from Doomsday's heat beams, Batman had said to Supes, "Nah, I'm with her."
My Patreon supporters get to see the evolution of this image from concept to finished product. I hope you enjoy the comic, and I'd always like to hear your thoughts.
