Name:  Agathos Daemon.

Age: 37 as human, 250 years in total.

Monster type/species: (Romanian) Phantom.

Monster Information: A species of ghost closely related to the Revenant. As a Revenant is the physical manifestation of an angered and malevolent soul, a Phantom is the spiritual manifestation still trapped between the mortal world and the astral plane, often called Purgatory. These creatures are usually created when someone dwells or obsess themselves with dark magic, giving off the impression that all Phantoms and Revenants are evil beings. However, they are also formed from the separation of soul and body when someone either fails in a magic ritual or sacrifice themselves to resurrect another.

Major Skills:
Bound Weapon - He can manipulate dark energy to summon weapons for up to an hour.
Dark Magic - He has knowledge on several aspects of dark magic, such as the summoning of demons and resurrection of souls.
Intangibility - Due to his incorporeal state, he can turn transparent and phase through objects while in his spectral form. With great focus, he may also temporarily bestow this ability upon others as long as he is touching them.
Combat Expert - His training as a Monster Hunter gives him enough experience to know how to hold his ground against commonly known monsters and yokai.

Minor Skills:
Shapeshifting - While in spectral form, he can shapeshift specific parts of his body into something else.
Dimensional Warping - He can summon portals to places he memorizes.

Pathfinding - Through great focus, he can sense the location of a person or object he is looking for.
Psychometry - Through touching an object, he can see its history as well as the past of its owners. This is a probability ability and may work either randomly, or if he focuses hard enough.

Extra facts:
-Daughter is Celestina Daimon balisk.deviantart.com/art/Cele…
-Is very knowledgeable on different types of familiars and demons.
-His blood is deadly to humans. His shapeshifting ability causes the blood to alter the DNA of other creatures who come into contact with it. This can either kill the creature by making them unstable or transform them into a doppelganger of himself. This is, however, being controlled through the taking of medication known as LIGHT pills.
-Has an ancient sword called Ex-Solaris locked away in a small chest. The enchanted sword was crafted with shards from legendary weapons such as Excalibur and Kusanagi. The blade glows eternally and can very easily kill underworld-related monsters such as demons, undead, and hellhounds.

Character's Background:  He was born in Romania of 1763. In his youth, he was apprenticed by Constantine Van Helsing and trained as a demon hunter. Agathos was also friends with Constantine's son, Abraham, and often partnered with him on assignments. However, unlike most of his type of job, certain events led Agathos to believe that not all monsters were manifestations of evil. After several years, his work eventually led him on a long journey to a base set up in Japan to investigate the disappearance of a team who were hunting a group of Oni. During his time in Japan, he one day met and fell in love with a water Yokai (also known as a Ningyo) named Mizuko. However, to avoid trouble with the Order Agathos was in, Mizuko used the alias of Celestina as she disguised herself as a human and helped set up a home in Foxfire Forest. After a few years together, they had a daughter they named Celestina Sekai Daemon. Their daughter appeared mostly human when she was born, but they expected that traits from her Ningyo heritage would show up eventually as she matured and they did their best to keep her happy in their home in the forest. Agathos didn't want her to be lonely though and sometimes took Celestina along with him as he visited Foxfire village to purchase food and let her place with the villager children. He had a happy life with his family for a long time, but tragedy soon struck on his daughter's 16th birthday. Then unknown to Agathos, he had been stalked and watched by a demon and former angel named Lucia who was jealous of Mizuko and wanted Agathos to herself. So one day, she sent her servant, a Shinigami named Delm, to speed up the maturity of Celestina's demonic traits by inducing fear and also spread rumor to the human village that Agathos' wife and daughter were possessed by demons. As Agathos was away collecting wood for the upcoming Winter, he noticed an unusual smoke coming from home and hurried to see what was wrong, and was devastated when he saw their house set on fire. Mizuko was no where to be seen, but around the other side of the house, he found his daughter being restrained by a group of humans who took Delm's bait and Delm himself pretended to be a Buddhist Monk. As Agathos attempted to stop them from executing Celestina, a couple of the scared villagers bashed his knee and right hand with clubs. He was warned to not interfere as the 'demons' needed to be exorcised for his freedom and the safety of the village, but Agathos ignored them and still tried to get through to Celestina, but was hit in the head and the last he saw of that moment was his daughter shedding tears and letting out a loud scream.
When he regained consciousness, he found a trail of bodies littering the ground and followed a path towards the human village despite his injuries. Upon arrival, he panicked from what he saw. Many of the villagers were massacred in ways that only a demon could have, but Agathos couldn't believe that it was all done by his daughter. And then he saw something that brought tears to his eyes. Out in the center of the village was the lifeless body of Celestina. He wasn't sure of what had happened, but after trying to calm down, closer examination showed that she had no sign of injury, yet she was in a comatose-like state. Not seeing much of a choice, he tried to ignore the pain he was in and carried his daughter's body with him towards the nearest settlement, Hyuga Village, to seek a healer. Along the journey though, he had tripped on a large stone buried in the snow and cracked his skull. As he was unconscious, he had a vision in which a Sorceress told him that his daughter was still alive, but her soul was taken by demons and that the only way to reclaim it is by seeking out the holy sword, Exsolaris, a sword crafted by shards of various legendary weapons of light and counterpart to Caldryn, an unholy cursed sword crafted by shards of various legendary weapons of dark and death. When Agathos awoke from the dream, he found himself in a bed within Hyuga Temple and being cared for by the village's Sage. The Sage warned Agathos of the danger of Celestina's current condition and as long as her soul was separated from her body, demons would seek her out as a host-body. A samurai named Tsuyoshi Nakamoto volunteered to put her out of her misery with the blade of his katana, but Agathos argued with him until he agreed not to harm her until he returned with a cure for his daughter's state. However, Tsuyoshi made it clear that if any harm came to the village, the fault would be all his to blame. Throughout his journey to save his daughter, he received a grimoire on dark magic from a vampire named Zephyr Dorean, rare ingredients from Cian Wyve for use in resurrection ceremonies, and information on Lucia from an angel named Theron (whom had a unique job as both Dominion and Principalite) for return for rescuing a friend from being sacrificed by a cult. Theron and his friend (currently unnamed) led Agathos to where a scout named Ghelardite had reported locating Lucia's castle. Unbenownst to them, they were doing just as Lucia wanted, though she did not expect the angels to join Agathos as he ventured throughout the 'Castle of Illusion'. Agathos had to travel through nine towers and defeat its nine guardians based on splintered personalities of Lucia with the aid of Exsolaris. When he made it to the final chamber, Lucia offered to give him back Celestina's soul if he accepted to marry her, but Agathos had no intention of him or his daughter falling into the hands of someone as crazy and obsessed as Lucia was and he chose instead to shatter the Yata Mirror in which was the cause of all of her prior illusions. Lucia became upset when Agathos declined and killed her servant, Delm, to break the barrier on Celestina's soul and cause it to deteiorate to give herself enough time to escape. Overcome with emotion, Agathos used a thorny whip he acquired from a guardian of the castle to trap Lucia and ensured that she would be unable to escape or hurt his family again. He then quickly turned his focus onto Celestina and resorted to using a resurrection ceremony from the Grimoire to bind his daughter's soul back into her body, but a slight error made by him caused his own body to be sacrificed to restablize Celestina's soul as it departed to reunite with its body, but taint from the dark magic caused both her and Agathos to have demonic appearances. After another journey through the astral plane and back to Hyuga Village, he learned that Tsuyoshi had became corrupted by a demon and killed the Sage as he looked for Celestina whom was hidden away by the Sage's daughter, Masumi. Agathos attempted to persuade Tsuyoshi to stop destroying the village, but the Samurai was filled with rage and put the blame of his corruption on him and his daughter. He also used his demonic appearance as an excuse to behave like one. Eventually, as Agathos did his best to evacuate the citizens of Hyuga Village (which was also troubling since he himself also appeared as a demon as a result of dark magic), Tsuyoshi overused his abilities and supposedly incinerated himself while channeling a giant fireball at Hyuga Temple. After all the destruction, Agathos searched for Celestina and Masumi and was shocked to learn that while he was away, two demons had used Tsuyoshi's attack on the village as an advantage to sneak inside the temple and posses Celestina's body, but the reuniting with her soul caused the demons to also bind with her body and become trapped while Celestina retained her strong willpower.
After several years of helping with the restoration of the village, Agathos recieved word of an academy of others like Celestina and decided to enroll her there to help her make new friends. At the same time, he learned that they were also looking for new teachers and agreed to teach Defense Against Humans because of his knowledge of both monsters and humans, as well as a way to keep an eye on his daughter.
