KIDS’ DAY AT THE NEW FIRE STATION
SATURDAY, SEPT. 10 • 10 a.m. – 3 p.m

The Burien / Normandy Park Fire Department will be hosting their annual open-house event on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016.
During the event – to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a wide range of activities:
Firefighters will demonstrate their skills in emergency automobile extrication and high-angle rope rescue
King County Police Special Operations and Air Support will also participate
Children can practice escaping from a burning house, squirt a fire hose, learn about safety in many areas, and answer questions for prizes
Fire hats, and safety information will also be handed out
Low cost helmets for anyone over the age of 1 will also be available
This free, open event will be held at the new Fire Station, located at 900 SW 146th Street:
