Support the Birmingham Boys Choir while enjoying a fabulous evening of fine dining at this 4th annual fundraiser. Guests will enjoy a performance by the BBC, food from some of the Magic City’s finest restaurants, and jazz music. The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks show over the city.

Top 50 Over 50 Awards

Positive Maturity will recognize 50 individuals over the age of 50 from central Alabama, honoring them for achievements in business, civic engagement, encore careers, and advocacy. Secret Stages

Birmingham’s music discovery festival is back! For two nights, you’ll be treated to 80+ bands performing on up to eleven different stages. These acts are drawn from the nation, the region, and our own backyard. Join thousands of others in celebrating what is coming next in the world of music.

At this month’s Bards & Brews poetry open mic night, everyone is invited to recite their best slam poetry while enjoying a free beer tasting provided by Avondale Brewing Company. Prizes will be awarded to the best poems of the evening.

Iron Cinema Movie Night

Iron City recently launched its first-ever movies series with screenings of a collection of music-themed cult classics. Admission is free, and a dinner menu will be available so you can eat and drink while you watch. The series ends with a screening of the cult classic Wayne’s World.

This month-long fundraiser offers patrons the chance to win one of five unique playhouses, including a log cabin, a cottage, and a schoolhouse. Tickets to enter will be sold at Guest Services at the Shops, and all proceeds will benefit Tri-County CASA and its mission to help abused children find safe, permanent homes.

Kayak and Canoe Trip

If you’ve been to Red Mountain Park lately and wondered, “When is Remy’s Dog Park officially opening its gates?”, they are happy to share that the grass is growing, fencing has been installed and wonderful details are being wrapped up! This Saturday, bring your work gloves and lend a hand in bringing this dog park to life.
