Baby Steps Memorial 5K

Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park

This 6th annual 5K and 1-mile run allows grieving families and friends to come together to remember their loved ones. All proceeds will benefit the Amelia Center at Children’s of Alabama, which serves as a place of hope for grieving families.

Nighttime on the Cahaba Canoe Trip

What better way to escape the heat of summer than participating in a leisurely moonlight paddle on the Cahaba River? As you paddle down the river, you’ll see native plants, wildlife, and glowing fireflies. Proceeds will benefit the Cahaba River Society.

This music festival will feature live performances spanning genres from electronica to jazz, and everything in between. The event benefits kidney research, and all proceeds will aid patients on UAB’s kidney transplant list. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Free Movies in the Park

Black Creek Park in Fultondale

Join the Fultondale Arts Council for a free family movie night Tuesdays this summer. There will be sodas, popcorn, candy, and hot dogs for sale. Bring your blanket or lawn chair to join them for a screening of Muscle Shoals: The Documentary. There will be a pre-show music performance featuring The Kerry Gilbert Band from Muscle Shoals.
