New Orleans designer Mignon Faget has been designing unique, timeless, and beautiful jewelry for decades. A true artist, some of her most famous pieces draw from her favorite parts of nature and her New Orleans legacy.
Like this popular gumbo necklace:
Or her beehive bracelet collection:
The beehive provides protection and warmth to its inhabitants using an internal structure of hexagonal cells. Recalling this traditional symbol of industry, the HIVE collection is structured yet desultory. This cuff features honey crystal dotted between a simplistic distillation of the honeycomb pattern in silver.

She also has a line inspired by animal crackers.
Gators, and tigers, and bears – oh my!

A New Orleans fashion staple, she has been the queen of the luxury accessories industry there since the 1970s. But of all her designs, our favorite might be her collection of ocean-inspired products: SEA.
Instead of featuring your typical gamut of ocean-themed jewelry and color schemes (think turquoise, dolphins, etc.), Mignon Faget thinks outside the box and gives a shout out to some of the lesser known sea flora and fauna that are just as important to ocean ecosystems.
Like this seaweed necklace:
Or this oyster pendant (a modern take on the classic pearl necklace):
And take a look at this tortoise shell ring:
There’s also this belt buckle printed to resemble a crab belly:
And these sea urchin-inspired earrings:
Mignon Faget clearly understands the natural beauty of the ocean and the beach, and her jewelry perfectly reflects that understanding.
Mignon Faget believes in adorning yourself in the natural beauty of your surroundings
