Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 kicked off on Tuesday at the Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi. There were also some other A-list fashion designers who rocked the runway on first day of FPW Spring/Summer 2015 with their most exclusive collections.



Many top Pakistani designers and models were featured in the show. The designers were among Nida Azwer, Sadaf Malaterre, Sania Maskatiya and Fnk Asia and others.

Let’s talk about the stunning and exlcusive collection by designer Sania Maskatiyae whose latest spring/summer 2015 collection had some elegant cuts and silhouettes but nothing that we haven’t seen already.

This Spring-Summer Season, Sania Maskatiya collaborates with Al Karam to produce a premium designer lawn collection, featuring vibrant blends of both pattern and texture.

With core expertise in textiles, the Al Karam Mills weave, spin, and dye yarn, producing both apparel and home products, having established itself as one of Pakistan’s most formidable business conglomerates to date.

From bold graphics to delicate florals and figuratives, each design in this collection is inspired by Sania’s own fascination for what is enduringly feminine, with a vivacious edge.

Premium lawn, silk , chiffon and dobby dominates this deluxe line. In addition to twelve unstitched three-piece packages, it carries and four singular kameez designs, each available in two colour options.

Each of the three-piece suits lend themselves to multiple styles and silhouettes, thus every woman is guaranteed an exclusive ensemble. Sania Maskatiya for Al Karam doesn’t just dress a woman’s form; it defines her singularity against the norm.

The first day of TFPW began with Nida Azwer showcasing her line “The French Trellis Collection” while Madiha Raza showcased her fine collection called “The Spring Myth” which was a beautiful amalgamation of everything floral.

“The Spring Myth” had a gorgeous spring color palette and amazingly fresh floral prints, making it the perfect casual summer collection while “The French Trellis Collection” looked glamorous and classy, with intricate trellis-inspired hand embroidery, digital prints, crystal and pearl embellishments, all fused together.
