NBC

NBC will be the home for Super Bowl XLIX, the network’s 18th Super Bowl broadcast in its history. The game will air on on Sunday, February 1, 2015from University of Phoenix Stadium, in Arizona. It will be one of three postseason games NBC will air, including a Wild Card Game and a Divisional playoff game the following week. They will no longer air the opening Wild Card game.

NBC will air 19 games this season, 17 Sunday Night Football games and twoThursday night games.  Flex Scheduling will be tweaked for the new season, as the league can choose up to two games to flex from Week’s 5 to 10. The traditional flex scheduling format begins Week 11, with Week 17 open to a contest with direct impact to the playoffs.

Announcers: Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth return to the booth for their sixth season, with sideline reporter Michele Tafoya in her fourth.

Pregame: NBC’s Football Night in America pregame show airs at 7 pm ET with Bob Costas hosting from the game site. Dan Patrick hosts from New York, along with Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison previewing the scheduled game and recapping the earlier games. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King and Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio are the show’s NFL Insiders, with Josh Elliot contributing.

FOX

FOX Sports will have regular season coverage of NFC games, as well as select games usually assigned to CBS. The league will also use the option to flex games between the networks to enhance national doubleheader coverage. FOX will broadcast most of the NFC playoffs, including one Wild Card game, both Divisional games and the NFC Championship.

CBS

CBS will broadcast Thursday Night Football, simulcasted on NFL Network, from Weeks 2 to 8, and air one Saturday game in December.  CBS will air the majority of the AFC contests on Sundays, with a select number of NFC games. CBS will broadcast three AFC Playoff games including a Wild Card game, a Divisional game and the AFC Championship Game.

Announcers: Jim Nantz and Phil Simms return as the primary announcers and will be joined by Tracy Wolfson, as the new lead sideline reporter, the first fulltime SLR since 2005.  They will be the main broadcast team for Thursdaynights and select Sundays. Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts are the new #2 team and will be assigned the national game when the #1 team are unavailable.

Pregame Shows: The NFL Today will introduce Tony Gonzalez and Bart Scott to the show, as well as former NFL referee Mike Carey as CBS’s rules expert. They will join host James Brown, Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher and NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Deion Sanders will join Brown and Cowher for the NFL Thursday Night Kickoff pregame show before TNF, with Rich Eisen anchoring the second set.
