We are nearing the end of our four month trip in Southeast Asia and it has been six months since we launched this fair blog, Awesome Wave. So to celebrate we wanted to do something awesome for our lovely readers who have been encouraging us along the way.
And what would be more awesome than giving away a holiday in the Lake District?!
The Lake District is one an outstanding area of beauty and one of the top tourist destinations in the UK. It is the largest national park in England and a prime spot for walking, hiking, boating, cycling or simply taking in the scenery.
Located in the county of Cumbria in the Northeast of England it’s not just about the lakes in the Lake District. The area is also home to mountains including the famous Scafell Peak, the highest mountain in England.
Besides natural beauty the Lake District is home some lovely little towns and villages including Keswick, Windermere and Ambleside.
It truly is a stunning area of the country, and one we hope to spend a bit of time in this coming Summer.
So what’s this giveaway all about then?
Well, we have teamed up with LakeLovers, a company that has holiday cottages all over the Lake District. From cosy romantic cottages for two all the way up a large holiday home for 20 people, they offer a range of self-catering holiday cottages.
One lucky winner will be winning a 3 night stay at The Gallery in Ambleside worth up to £524.
The Gallery is studio apartment within a converted coach house with a view out across Lake Windermere. It’s located on a peaceful lane not far from the town so you get to enjoy the buzz of Ambleside and the beauty of the lake.
The apartment includes heating, modern bathroom, kitchen, TV, WIFI, use of the garden and a porch to keep your walking clobber.

o Oct 2015 – arrive on 31st (3 nights)
o November 2015 – all weekends are currently available (3 nights)
o December 2015 – arrive on 4th or arrive on 11th (3 nights)
