This easy reading book for children contains fun facts about the life of George Washington.This delightful picture book is written for children ages 4 to 10. It contains a variety of facts and stories about George Washington. It’s illustrated with great graphic images. It offers interesting facts in simple language. Although the material appropriate for these ages, younger children will need some help. They will enjoy the book most by sharing it with a parent. Students will encounter new words and concepts. They’ll read about George Washington’s first job and how he became a major at the age of 21. They’ll also learn about his surprise attack on the British at Trenton. Other subjects in the book include George’s honesty and integrity. He led the colonists to victory, though he would rather have stayed on his farm. Most of the book’s images are colored photographs. These are most effective when read on a Kindle Fire, or the Kindle Application on a tablet device, or PC. They can be viewed clearly on black and white readers. Only the color dimension is lacking. Children will also find answers to kid-style questions. Author Bio:

Madison Matthews has been teaching elementary programs, including language arts, social studies, mathamatics, science and art. She has also been highly active in creating flexible elementary grade programs and classroom environments fit for learning.

Her activities at school, as well as caring for her wonderful family keep her very busy, but her love for learning and inspiring reading in our young ones has led her to publishing Kindle Children’s books, and participating in A Reading Place’s information sharing program.

She hopes to continue writing Kindle books for Children, and teaching these very important formative years. So far she has focused on 3rd and 4th grades, but there could be some changes coming soon. And the most important part of her life continues to be her Daughter and Husband.
