What’s inportant for fall? What’s an essential? Something I can’t be without?
Boots are important. Really important.
Of course, the perfect pair of black pants are
inportant
mandatory.
The quintessential cashmere wrap is
important
necessary.
The perfect shade of lipstick is
important
crucial.
A fabulous handbag is
important
really significant.
A perfect fedora is on my must find list. This one is running in first place right now.

But after the summer I’ve survived… hope is what’s critical to me now. I need to focus on it, ensure it’s with me everyday and nurture it.
This summer I had a
few
bucket load of challenges.
My dear brother-in-law who blessed me with the honor of being his patient advocate, passed away after a long, tough struggle with cancer.
My husband was forced into early retirement, the day his brother died.
I broke a bone in my foot which has healed, but left my toes
seriously
sort of mangled.
My blog, bank accounts and privacy were hacked by a creep who tried to extort money from me in exchange for my online identity. He also removed most of your blog comments which really stung and pissed me off, no end.

This month’s International Blog Party topic was meant to be lighthearted and non serious, but this is where my mind is right now. Luckily my blog was rescued by Lisette of High Note Designs. If you ever consider leaving Blogspot for WordPress, I highly recommend her!
My hope was refreshed and reinforced by precious time spent with my husband, daughter, son, daughter-in-law and grandson as well as time spend in meditation.
My son and daughter, as we sailed out the Golden Gate to spread my brother-in-laws ashes.
