Coinciding with the start of many school calendars, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a guide for parents and caregivers on vaccinating children. The guide explains what to expect before getting a child vaccinated, such as:
the benefits of vaccines,
how they work, and
the types of vaccines children need.
The guide also answers common questions about vaccines and encourages parents and caregivers to discuss concerns with their health care providers, according to an FDA press release.
