Your aircraft could be a case study for “ADS-B Equipage and Installation,” an AOPA webinar beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on July 13.
The webinar will be presented by Mike Collins, technical editor and
ADS-B subject matter expert for AOPA Media, and Todd Adams, manager ofLancaster Avionics,
a full-service avionics shop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Part of the
webinar will explore Adams’ systematic approach to the potentially
complicated question of how to comply with the FAA’s approaching Jan. 1,
2020, mandate for ADS-B Out, which will be required to fly in airspace
where a transponder is required today.
