Contribute to the success of GTI and the Sales Department by developing customer relationships, identifying and mitigating risks through contractual assumptions, and assuring the flow down of contractual requirements to internal departments. Facilitate contract award by negotiating contract price, terms and conditions.  Monitor and support contractual issues on active programs and milestones; direct Finance to invoice for met contractual milestones. Support the Director of Legal and Director of Contracts with the development of program related intellectual property agreements, proforma template language, legal issue and dispute related concerns and litigation efforts for both GTI and its subsidiaries.  Execute aircraft redelivery in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Duties: • Review proposals with Sales team and apply appropriate contract assumptions; identify areas of risk and make recommendations to upper management • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact with existing customers on the phone and in person.  Organize and support meetings with existing customers • Ensure contract terms and conditions are flowed down, understood and tracked appropriately, to Program Management, SCM and other applicable internal departments to ensure contract compliance and profitable execution • As required, conduct price reasonableness efforts, risk assessment and assumption development by working with the Program Manager (PM) and Proposal Team to gather substantiating data in support of contract award • Contribute to a positive work atmosphere by displaying Green Behaviors and communication focused on building effective working relationships with customers, clients, co-workers and management • Work with Program Management to develop and submit Change Proposals on active programs and track in CRM, as required • Manage the development of Spares provisions as required for all major programs, making recommendations to Customer and ultimately contract such efforts • Other duties as assigned

Contracts Duties: • Work with management as required to develop negotiation ground rules/boundaries; within the established boundaries, negotiate price, schedule, milestone payments, and other contract terms in support of contract award • Review contracts for pricing, schedule and negotiated terms; identify areas of risk to Operations prior to and during Kick-Off Meeting • Analyze contract revisions and work with internal organizations to assure compliance and/or obtain revisions to reflect accurate contractual commitments • Assure contract language aligns with proposal assumptions, options and period of performance • Manage contract through life of program and work with internal organizations to ensure compliance and/or obtain contract revisions to reflect scope growth, including associated costs • Direct internal departments to begin work on negotiated proposal efforts (e.g., C/O LOI) and or “at risk” projects • Conduct Kick-off Meetings, with Sales and PM focals, for new programs and/or efforts as required • Conduct and support meetings with Customer and Program Manager on issues that arise during the life of the program • Track program and change order concessions in CRM for final invoice and Re-delivery tracking Lead post contract award Customer negotiations associated with scope growth, change activity, extensions to period of performance, delivery commitments, etc., with the support of PM • Manage the Warranty Log regularly for status and contractual compliance as well as trends and opportunities for improvement. • Identify risk areas, elevating to Director of Contracts, Legal and PM; when necessary, develop, appropriately message and send contracts letters on active programs, to reserve GTI’s contractual rights and protect GTI’s interests. • Track negotiated Change Order proposals pending receipt of contract through Customer communications, documenting updates in CRM; ensure contracts are received in a timely fashion • For Boeing Programs, review, approve, and make recommendations for acceptance or rejection of new and previously accepted Contract codes by coordinating with internal departments for compliance; recommendations for approval/rejection of new codes should be submitted to Director, Contracts or Legal for final approval • Identify and monitor milestones at risk; work with Program Management to identify solutions to avoid misses, submitting opportunities to Senior Management for consideration. • Work with Program Management to obtain invoice approval on met milestones and direct Finance to invoice • Work with Program Management to review and approve vendor (e.g. Boeing) invoices related to program contract compliance • Manage all aspects of aircraft redelivery process; negotiate redelivery commitments and ensure all aspects of redelivery, specific contractual notifications, delivery location, tax implications are adhered to and conducted in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.  Engage Director of Contracts and Legal, as appropriate, throughout the redelivery process as necessary. • Work with Director of Contracts and Legal to identify and mitigate risks as they pertain to GTI’s unique contracting structures, i.e., Customer Contract vs., Installation Contract vs. Major Vendor Contracts; trouble shoot and raise concerns as they pertain flow down impacts from one area to another during daily interactions as well as during weekly Contract Stand-up meeting. • Manage negotiation and execution of program related support contracts as assigned • Manage PIA/NDAs with potential business partners and program related vendors as assigned • Work with the Director of Contracts and Legal to develop, update and maintain standard template agreements as assigned • Analyze and review contract revisions as requested by Director of Contracts and/or Director of Legal • Contribute to contract negotiation and drafting as requested/assigned • Support litigation and new business contracting efforts as requested/assigned • Assist Director of Legal with subsidiary legal work as requested/assigned • Manage GTI Products Liability and General Insurance coverage through consistent and ongoing communication and policy review with GTI Insurance brokers as well as internal organization team leads as needed • Support insurance acquisition and management for subsidiaries as requested/assigned • Manage and monitor insurance requirements compliance as related to specific VIP programs • Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification BA/BS degree from accredited college or university with a minimum of eight years related experience and three years’ experience in the Aerospace industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
