We provide interior solutions for Boeing aircraft, including VIP interior completions for private individuals, corporations and heads-of-state. As a preferred OEM supplier to the Boeing Company, we have designed and delivered specialty interior systems and modifications for nearly every Boeing commercial model. Lead sales activities for Greenpoint Technologies while representing a positive image to clients, team members and the community. Identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, and develop proposals to meet annual sales goals working closely with all departments. Strengthen client relationships through regular communication and interaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Achieve assigned sales targets. •Maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact with customers and influencers on the phone and in person. •Develop and qualify new leads. Become intimately familiar with Greenpoint products and services in order to promote features and benefits to best serve their end client. •Maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data, including contacts, leads, opportunities and proposal activity to view a high level sales channel of customer interaction. •Prepare and present sales proposals. •Review customer statements of work, RFQs and supporting documentation with Proposal Team. •Coordinate with Sales Engineers to create summary statements of work to support SCM and Engineering during the proposal process. •Coordinate with Design for visual elements to support proposal response as required. •Work closely with Contracts Manager or Director of Contracts to apply appropriate contract assumptions and identify areas of risk. Also, develop negotiation ground rules/boundaries with price, schedule, milestone payments and other contract terms. •Deliver features/benefits presentations to key clients in coordination with other company representatives. •Present monthly sales performance measures to senior management at the State of the Point meeting as assigned. •Prepare periodic sales report(s) showing sales volume and potential sales. •Resolve problems using solutions that involve re-use of existing company designs where practical and new techniques, technologies, or concepts as needed. •Contribute to a positive work atmosphere by displaying productive behavior and communication focused on building effective working relationships with customers, clients, coworkers and management. •Represents Company at trade shows. •Other duties may be assigned. Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities •Master's degree in engineering, business administration or advanced training preferred. •Familiarity with Middle East cultures preferred. •Ability and willingness to travel as required. Extensive international travel required (as high as 50%). Ability to travel over weekends. •Experience with CRM, Contract Management Systems, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, and MS Office Suite. •Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally. •Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills. •Strong sales, negotiation and business skills. •Ability to effectively develop and write reports and business correspondence. •Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, etc. •Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. •Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience desired. •Ability to sit for extended periods of time, use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus. •Ability to work overtime as required.
