HQ Aero is looking for qualified and highly experience Avionics CADD Technician for one of our customers in Bridgewater, VA. This position will be DIRECT with the customer and will require relocation to the facility location. All salary will be based upon experience and will be determined at the time of an interview.
The Avionics CADD Technician position is responsible for maintaining and keeping current the avionics wiring schematic system for the aircraft in the Dynamic Aviation fleet.
Duties:
Maintain current avionics wiring schematic system for aircraft
Work directly with shop leads while handling detailed information
Ensure schematic database is kept in a clear and organized manner
Ensure that each aircraft has a complete set of wiring schematics before the aircraft leaves VBW
Interpret crude or hand drawn wiring schematics and be able to convert them into an easy to read CADD drawing
Additional duties as assigned by manager
Skills/Qualifications:
2+ years of demonstrated CADD experience
High school diploma required, 2-4 years of related college training preferred
A background in and knowledge of electronics and electricity
Ability to multi-task between several projects at any given time
Basic automotive, vehicular and/or aviation systems training
Must provide own tools
Job Experience:
2+ Years (of experience in a similar field) preferred
