ZF Services announced the launch of their most comprehensive range of passenger car components in India today. The range includes steering components from Lemförder for the popular mass segment cars such as Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ford and General Motors.

This marks ZF’s unrivalled commitment to supplying the independent aftermarket with OE-quality products and full technical support, targeting the mass Passenger Car segment in India. The offering includes 66 new steering and suspension components in India.

With this offering, ZF Services intends to tap on the rapidly growing passenger car segment in India, which makes up about 25% of the total Passenger Car segment in India. As a first step, ZF Services aims to capture 12% of the market share for Lemförder components in the mass passenger car segment by 2016-17.

ZF Services views India as a strategically important market and is dedicated to strengthening its service and distribution network in the region. Product quality, cost and timely delivery are ZF Services focus points for the Indian automotive aftermarket. Page 2/3, 2014-03-04

Keeping these factors in mind; ZF Services has strengthened its distribution through Authorized Parts Dealers and Services Partners in India. This has significantly augmented wider availability and support for the aftermarket products and services from ZF. The extension in the product offering from ZF reiterates ZF’s commitment to the Indian market.

Earlier this year, ZF in India introduced the latest clutch products and shock absorbers from Sachs, as well as rubber to metal parts and steering components for high-end vehicles including Audi A3, A4, A6, Mercedes C, S, M Class, BMW 3, 5 Series, Skoda Octavia, Laura, Fabia, VW Polo, Passat, Vento. ZF Services also has a strong presence in the CV & Off-highway segment with its offerings of original ZF product brands & repair & services.
