The premiere for Star Wars Rogue One draws nearer to the delight of its avid fans. Yet their anticipation could grow wilder as news of ticket pre-orders arrives.

Yet another reason to get excited for the Star Wars Rogue One movie is the early sale of tickets. In Australia, tickets went on sale on Monday.

According to Gizmodo, IMAX Melbourne will start to sell tickets at 8 AM of November 28. However, the early timeslot is for members of the IMAX Big League. However, Tickets for the public go on sale an hour later. IMAX intends to screen the Star Wars spinoff for 24 hours starting at 12:01 am Thursday December 15.

“Tickets for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story go on sale at 8AM for IMAX Big League members and 9AM for the general public on Monday, November 28. Following the first 24 hours of non-stop trade, the film will be screened at 9AM, noon, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM and 11:55PM each day over the opening three days,” IMAX announced. Meanwhile, other national movie theater chains like Event Cinemas start their sale at 8 AM.

The spinoff film of the popular movie franchise comes to theaters this December. Fans looked forward to the film ever since the first trailer debut back in April. An early synopsis for it revealed it as a heist movie. As it turns out, the rebel alliance hired a group of bounty hunters to steal the Death Star, which is the greatest weapon of the Empire.

The Rebel crew would include a number of new characters who would join Felicity Jones and Mad Mikkelsen in the cast. Moreover, fans can look forward to a cameo of Darth Vader in the Star Wars Rogue One.
