A Hollywood stunt expert praised One Direction singer Harry Styles for his acting performance. Thus, would it mean he is leaving the boy band for good and will now focus on becoming the next action star?
Harry recently finished his first foray into acting. The One Direction star wrapped up his work for the film Dunkirk. Although he did not play the lead role, he shared the screen with some movie icons such as Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy. Yet it seemed he managed to impress well-known movie stuntman Riley Harper.
“I got to see Harry Styles, which was fun. Was he doing well? Actually, he was doing really well. It’s sort of surprising when you hear that someone like that has actually got pretty good chops. He was super cool, in fact. Nice genuine guy,” Harper told Matches Fashion. As it turns out, the stuntman doubled for Harry in the movie. Previously, he worked on another Christopher Nolan film, The Dark Knight Rises.
Riley’s praise comes as no surprise. Early on, the movie’s casting director John Papsidera revealed that the 1D star won the role for his sheer talent and hard work. Hence, this might confirm earlier rumors about him as the next big star in Hollywood. If so, would he abandon his singing career for the silver screen?

Then again, it would seem anything he does turns into gold. Soon after the announcement of their hiatus, Sir Elton John spoke openly about mentoring Harry for a solo career. Current X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh recently said Harry would be the only successful member of One Direction after the band’s split.
