Fans are still waiting for news about EA and Bioware’s next chapter to the Mass Effect universe. Though the adventures of Commander Shepard may have come to an end, a new character was revealed that features a whole new story to the saga. Apparently a leaked survey form was uncovered that details some possible features for “Mass Effect: Andromeda, and a new leak has appeared to somewhat featuring a short gameplay footage for the said game.

GameSpot shares the report on the leaked footage. A recent NeoGaff user by the name of Taker34 has shared a footage that he said he obtained from a certain developer who is currently working for “Mass Effect: Andromeda.” What makes the footage interesting is the introduction of the jet pack, where the character can leap to higher grounds. One user by the name of shinobi602 mentioned that the said footage was from a 2014 build, which is at the early stage of production. A description was also found from the leaked footage, and here are the info:

“Players will lead the fight for a new home in history territory–where WE are the aliens–opposed by a deadly indigenous race bent on stopping us. Experience the freedom to traverse and explore a planet-dense but seamless open-world galaxy, rich with discovery. Play as the leader of a squad of military-trained explorers in an intense third-person shooter, with deep progression and customization systems. This is the story of humanity’s next chapter, and player choices throughout the game will ultimately determine our survival in the Andromeda galaxy.”

Also, a new surprise has surfaced where Bioware supposedly unveiled a new IP when one of their developers attended the recent Game Developers Conference and wore a t-shirt showing the said new IP. Mass Effect Andromeda, previous reports reveal, which is expected to be released sometime in 2017, will be moved to a later year.
