LeBron James set the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines ablaze after putting on a dunkfest for all his Filipino fans. We have the lowdown on what the highlights of the night as well as his best slams!
Thousands of fans gathered at the MOA Arena in Manila to witness the King set the place on fire. James was in the country to serve as a guest in the final leg of the Nike Rise Manila campaign as well as encourage young kids to work hard and pursuit their dreams.
LBJ, who was wearing a red pair of his signature Nike sneakers, red shorts and a white Nike Rise shirt, was welcomed with cheers and thunderous applause when he entered the arena, much to the excitement of what could be some of the best basketball fans in the world.
At an earlier press conference, King James acknowledged the Filipinos love for the game and praised his fans for their passion.
“[Filipinos] love the game, they play it. You can tell they’re having fun. You can always relate to some people that’s passionate about the sport. They definitely love the game here,” James said, as quoted by Rappler.

The four-time MVP watched the exhibition game in the sidelines before joining the game in the fourth quarter. Playing against the Nike Rise finalists, Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) superstars and some top collegiate players, King James put on a show — dunking left to right.
A dunkfest it was! Off the glass passes to himself for a slam, alleyoops and powerful jams made the crowd go crazy.
Before leaving, LeBron made sure to thank his fans for the support throughout the years.
LeBron James will see action this 2015-16 NBA season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
