Guns N’ Roses New Zealand tour will be graced by rockstars from Down Under.

Aussie trio Wolfmother will be joining Guns N’ Roses New Zealand tour early next year, concert promoter TEG Dainty announced.

Wolfmother released their self-titled debut album Wolfmother in 2005 and internationally a year later. The group, led by founding member Andrew Stockdale, sold more than 1.5 million copies of their first LP worldwide. The Grammy and Aria-winning group disbanded in 2008. Guitarist Aidan Nemeth and drummer Dave Atkins stepped in to join Stockdale, Stuff.co.nz noted.

An audience of 50,000 is expected to watch Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime tour in New Zealand.

Guns N’ Roses New Zealand tour will kick off in Wellington on February 2 before heading to Auckland on February 4. The iconic rock band last played together in the country at the Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium during their Use Your Illusion tour in 1993.

Concert promoters recently announced that there will be a booze ban outside of the venue of Guns N’ Roses New Zealand tour in Auckland. A temporary liquor ban has been imposed on the streets surrounding Western Springs Stadium.

However, Auckland Stadiums director Paul Nisbet assured clients that alcohol will still be available for purchase inside the stadium grounds, the publication added.

Guns N’ Roses concluded their Not In This Lifetime tour in Latin America late last month. The GNR reunion tour will resume on January 21 in Osaka, Japan.
