Ranked 1 Top Workplace by Austin-American Statesman 2 Years in a Row
Austin’s red-hot real estate market isn’t the only reason Realty Austin employees look forward to going to work each day, says the Statesman, based upon employee surveys, the locally owned real estate agency was named the area’s No.1 midsized employer in the American-Statesman’s 2013 Top Workplaces project.

The highly innovative residential real estate brokerage was an honored winner at the annual luncheon on June 6, 2013 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. The Austin Business Journals Best Places to Work list identifies the top workplaces in the Austin, Texas area.

Realty Austin was named to the Power Broker List on RISMedias 25th Annual Power Broker Report, an exclusive annual ranking of the nations top firms. The prestigious honor was awarded to leading brokerage firms across the country based on closed transactions and sales volume for 2012. Realty Austin, one of only two Austin-based companies recognized on the list, ranked no. 152 with sales of $794,758,263; and no. 212 with 2,575 closed transactions.

175 Realty Austin agents and staff attended the 4th Annual Bowling Club, 2nd Annual Karaoke Contest and 1st Annual Derby Games on August 8th, 2013 at The Goodnight.

Opened our 3rd Office in Southwest Austin
March 21st, 2013 marked the Grand Opening of Realty Austins Southwest Office celebrating our new office launch and introducing our Southwest team.
Opened our 4th Office in Northwest Austin
October 23rd, 2013 marked the Grand Opening of Realty Austins Northwest Office celebrating our new office launch and introducing our Northwest team.
Raised $65,000 amp; Volunteered Over 1280 Hours for our 2nd Annual Habitat for Humanity Home Build
Realty Austin presesnted a $65,000 check to Austin Habitat for Humanity (AHFH) on August 15, 2013, from Realty Austin to build a home for Carmen Toungates family. Realty Austin agents worked alongside AHFH and members of the Americorps to build a well-deserved new home for her Family in Northeast Austin. Raised $10,000 for Keep Austin Affordable
Realty Austin announced its support of Keep Austin Affordable, which supports affordable housing bonds. Together with its team of agents, the company donated $10,000 this week to the coalition of business, faith and community leaders.
Raised $50,000 for Foundation Communities
Realty Austin donated $50,000 for Foundation Communities match fund program. At their annual fundraiser luncheon on October 29, 2013, private donors matched our donation raising over $100,000 to create more affordable housing in Austin.
Hosted our 1st Quarterly Foundation Communities Supper Club
Realty Austin staff joined Foundation Communities to host their first Supper Club Our team served over 90 families including parents and children. Thanks to the donations from our agents, Foundation Communities was able to provide each child with a backpack full of supplies for their first day of school.
Hosted 1st Northwest Office Food Drive
Realty Austin’s Northwest Office hosted a food drive on Saturday, November 16, 2013 to benefit Feed the Community food pantry. 6,500 bags were assembled and distributed to homes throughout Cedar Park and Avery Ranch neighborhoods. The food drive is the first of its kind bringing together community service organizations, merchants, and volunteer groups
30 Finalists and 7 Winners Were Recognized at Austin Platinum Top 50 Awards
Realty Austin congratulated thirty of its REALTORS® who were finalists for Austins Platinum Top 50 Award. Of those finalists, seven were welcomed to the prestigious winners circle at the annual awards ceremony.
18 Finalists and 5 Winners Were Recognized at Residential Real Estate Awards
Eighteen Realty Austin agents were finalists at the annual Residential Real Estate awards, and five won the coveted award, placing them amongst Austin’s most exceptional real estate professionals. Todd Grossman placed 14th in the individual agent category with total sales of $17.8 million in 35 transactions. In the team category, The Lisa Munoz team earned a rank of 10th place with total sales of $21.1 million in 88 transactions; and The Ditlow team was awarded 15th place with $18.6 million in total sales in 81 transactions.
5 Realty Austin Agents Ranked Top 25 Elite Latinos by NAHREP
This year, Realty Austin was honored to have 5 REALTORS® in the Top 25 Elite Latinos by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Lisa Muñoz of Realty Austin was awarded the no. 1 distinction at the first annual awards ceremony. Top-ranked winners from Realty Austin included Israel Gutierrez, Romeo Manzanilla, Cristina Valdes, and Rene Ruiz.
40 Realty Austin Agents Raced for the Cure
Realty Austin sported their team shirts, donned their pink tutus, and raced for the cure Over 40 Realty Austin agents participated in the event and supported Susan G. Komens cause. Realty Austin agent Joe Keenan won 2nd place overall
