Magical Winter Express
In the style of John Debney and John Williams.
We take a journey on a midnight train through the Arctic, off into the Polar regions with the stars brightly shining above, and the beautiful northern lights above. A mysterious journey which returns us back to childhood. Additionally, the piece is ideal for Christmas or seasonal applications, romantic and wedding presentations, childrens shows, films, TV and movie work or podcasts/source music.
I also composed this piece to bring the feeling of awe and wonder of the Christmas season to your TV/Film/Movie and video production work. Imagine elf after elf getting the presents ready to go onto Santa’s sleigh as the children, wide-eyed around the world, wait for their gifts. Taking us back to our halcyon days of childhood.
Utilising a full 60 piece orchestra setup across multiple Vienna MIR PRO instances, and originally mastering at 24Bit 192KHz, we care about optimal quality. Derek Gibbons composed, orchestrated and mixed this piece with the Vienna Symphonic Library, Vienna Imperial, Nexus 2 Hollywood 2 Package, NI Action Strings, Sonokinetic (various), EW Symphonic Choirs, Cubase 7 and Vienna Ensemble Pro.
Derek Gibbons is a Scottish Composer and Producer with both Masters and Honours degrees in music, and has had music featured across numerous production music sites, films and programmes.
