The new StarLeaf GTm 5140 Huddle – native video meeting room solution for Skype for Business – is now in full production.
StarLeaf, the leading video conferencing and calling provider, announces the general availability of its Skype for Business meeting room solution, the Starleaf GTm 5140, a native professional video conferencing system that works directly with Microsoft Skype for Business, and which offers the best price performance and feature set on the market today.
Analysts Wainhouse Research estimates that there will be 640 million Skype for Business enterprise seats by 2020. This meteoric rise in adoption at the desktop is fueling a demand for native meeting room systems, particularly for small collaboration spaces and huddle rooms. The StarLeaf GTm 5140 Huddle is an easy to use, great quality video conferencing hardware appliance that registers directly to a Microsoft Skype for Business server or Microsoft Office 365. It offers a small and stylish form factor, and is packed with a rich feature set including HD audio and video, bi-directional content sharing, one touch dialing, and a simple ‘one button to push’ to join a Microsoft scheduled meeting. It comes complete with a StarLeaf touchscreen controller, USB camera and microphone, and supports one or two screens.
“At first glance it appears that the world of Skype for Business is well served with a number of seemingly low cost video conferencing huddle room systems available,” said Mark Loney, CEO, StarLeaf, referring to PC-based systems and Microsoft’s Project Rigel. “Customers tell us that one size does not fit all rooms. With the addition of our huddle room solution StarLeaf gives its customers the flexibility to choose from a family of products, with a single user interface and importantly, a centralized management platform.”
