POSTER ART: Rare Vintage (1914) Italian Coffee Advertising Lithograph Poster – “Costina’s Coffee Co.” by graphic artist Franz Laskoff. An Arts & Crafts style Poster of a black waiter and a fashionably dressed young woman. The Poster is of the Rare large size! and measures 20”x 27 ½” tall. The image measures 17 ½”x 24”. The Poster is marked in bottom left Margin “Arti Grafiche Ricordi S. P. A. Milano Edizioni Beatrice D ’Este Printed in Italy”. Condition is very good, with exception of masking tape that covers the outer ½” of all margins. Note, Franz Laskoff distinguished himself as one of the best graphic artists of his time, while only producing 20 posters! Est. $2,000/4,000

NAUTICAL ART:  Early 1800’s Sailor’s Wool Work or Wooly, depicting a portside view of a double deck or 3rd rate Royal Navy Ship, of 3 masts and 60 canons. The Ship flies the White Ensign or St. Georges Flag (1707-1800). The work appears to be in its original or very old frame. The piece descended through the famed ship building Vaughan Family, of St. Martins, New Brunswick.
