Today (31 december 2013) is the last day of the year 2013. How time flies ! This blog was started on 19 july 2008 and we are now bidding farewell to the sixth year. This gives us an opportunity to pause and look back at the year that will soon be history.

WordPress report is a statistical look at 2013. There were some other non statistical hightlights of the year as well, which I will cover in another post for the day.
On this occasion, here is a lovely romantic song from “Man Ka Meet” (1968). This movie was an Ajanta Arts Production which was produced by Sunil Dutt and directed by A Subba Rao. The movie had Som Dutt, Leena Chandavarkar, Vinod Khanna, Om Prakash, Rajendra Nath, Anwar, Jeevan, Achala Sachdev, Sandhya Rani etc in it.
The song is sung by Mahendra Kapoor and Asha Bhonsle. It is picturised on Som Dutt (hero of the movie and brother of Sunil Dutt) and Leena Chandawarkar.
Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ravi.
I have heard this song for the first time but the music sounds familiar to me because it was reused by Ravi in “Nikaah” (1982) as well.
