One hundred and fifty students were awarded 170 scholarships totaling $170,685 at Atlantic Cape Community College’s 45th Annual Scholarship and Awards Ceremony May 14. The scholarships and their recipients include:

AAUW Marion MacEwan Second Chance Scholarship—awarded to a Cape May County female who has completed at least 15 credits with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Presented to Barbara Burke of Cape May Court House; Jill Geller of Ocean City and Heather Seningen of Eldora.

ACHLA Howard Persina Memorial Scholarship—awarded to a hospitality management student who desires to work in the Atlantic City area upon graduation. Presented to Nicholas LaRotonda of Absecon.

Alyce Van Sant Eshbach Scholarship—awarded to a returning female student who resides in Atlantic or Cape May County and is an allied health major in good academic standing. Presented to Jennifer Brown of Mays Landing.

American Association of University Women AC Branch Scholarship—awarded to a graduating female student who plans to attend Richard Stockton College in a baccalaureate program. Andy J. Scholarship—awarded to a full-time student majoring in culinary arts or business. Presented to Oscar Marrou Tonkovic of Egg Harbor Township.

Anthony A. Ercolani Scholarship—awarded to a culinary arts major entering his/her second year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Presented to Catharine Tarquinio of Richland.

SouthShore Foundation Health Education Scholarship—awarded to a student studying for a health-related career. Presented to Ashley DuBruille of Beesley’s Point.

SouthShore Foundation Scholarship—awarded to allied health or nursing students who are enrolled in the clinical portion of the program with two faculty recommendations.
